AR World Championship

The AR World Championship starts tomorrow morning and several GA racers are there. The website is live and you can find info here. The race starts with a 80+km trek! Looks like this is going to be a killer race. All the best teams in the world are there. I know what website I’ll be visiting several times a day next week! D@mn this sport for being so great.

Viva Lance

Wow, what can you say about Lance Armstrong.  The man is freakin amazing.  I don’t have OLN but I was able to listen to the Tour via streaming media while at work and at home.  The way he was able to drop everyone when he needed was incredible.  Basso really impressed me though.  When the mountains hit, he was the only one who could ride with Lance.  Even though he dropped to third in the overall classification on the last time trial he was the second best rider I believe.  If Basso learns to time trial he will be a force in future TDF’s.

Back to adventure racing.  The planning for the Midnight Rush is pretty much complete.  All we need now are teams and volunteers.

Oh, I got a new toy last week.  A shiny new Giant OCR2 road bike!  Don’t worry, I won’t become a roadie.
