No UOG In 2009

I promised an update on the Ultra O-gaine and here it is. Sadly, the UOG will not happen in 2009. My wife and I have decided that this is the most opportunistic time to renovate our home so we are going forward with those plans. Because of the renovation, I will not have the necessary time to devote to the UOG this year.

We haven’t made any decision on the UOG going forward, so don’t rule out a 2010 edition.

Thank you to all those who emailed us about the UOG. Patrick and I couldn’t be more proud that you all enjoy the event so much.

  2. Thanks for stopping by BWBUCK. As it currently stands we haven’t made a decision for 2010 yet. I’d imagine we’ll make that call in the winter sometime.

    As far as the renovations go, so far so good! We finally decided to do a scaled back version of our original plan but we had to move out of the house anyways. We’re hoping to move back into our home in about 3 months. It’s been a TON of “work”, even though we have a general contractor doing the actual work.

  3. please do the event in 2010. my girlfriend and i did the 2008 race as her first rae and she hasn’t stopped talking about it. it is/was my favorite race of the year. well run, and just fun to do. i hope to be able to put the race on my schedule for this year.

    I have given it some thought lately actually. I think the desire is there, we’ll just have to see about what life throws my way. My wife and I still haven’t moved back into our house, but things appear to be moving towards a conclusion. I should talk to Patrick in the next few weeks to see what his availability is for next year.
